The Most Important Place on Earth!

Where would you say is the most important place on earth? Rome? The White House? Jerusalem? Your home town? I beg to differ. In my opinion, the most important place on earth is always the place where God is at work. So, let me introduce you to a place you may not have heard of, but where God has been miraculously at work the last two years. It is a spot in the middle of the jungle called Kaje, among a tribal people who have never heard the Gospel of Christ nor have they ever had a written language.

So three years ago, Jon and Jen Myers along with their partners, Taylor and Abby Goheen, were sent by New Tribes Missions (now known as Ethnos 360) and a number of churches to live with the Kaje, people, learn their language, create a grammar, teach the Kaje to read and write, translate the Bible into their language, and teach them the Gospel story from Genesis to Revelation. Imagine doing that with small children along for the ride! By the way, the Myers now have a third child. These are our heroes – pioneer missionaries taking the Gospel to those who have never heard it. It was also the Great Commission of Jesus: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

So are they reaching their goals? Their last newsletter included this update. Rejoice with us! The time of the first Kaje Christians and first Kaje church is rapidly approaching. See the facts below!

A Final Word: Jesus said if we invest in the fleeting things of this world, we cannot expect to be rewarded for it in Heaven. However, even a cup of cold water given in the name of a prophet will win a prophet’s reward. “And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.” (Matthew 10:42) Consider partnering with these two couples as they reach an unreached people with the Gospel of Christ. A monthly gift of $10 could make a huge difference! Or a one-time gift of $100! We have known Jon and his family since he was a boy and promise that your donation will not be in vain. Send it to us, and we will send 100% (no overhead) to their mission agency or you can sent it directly to their account at Ethnos360. Do it today so you don’t forget!
